Location: Roseburg, OR
Compensation: $15.00 - 20.00/hour

The Technician is responsible for the completion of water removal, and structural drying for residential or commercial properties that have been affected by fire, water, or mold damage. A positive attitude, professional work ethic, and a desire to help people in need are requirements for this position. We are a 24/7 emergency service company so applicants must be available to work a rotating on-call schedule. IICRC certifications with two years of experience is preferred but not required. Pay depends on your experience level.

Specific Duties

  • Water damage services.
  • Structural in place drying methods.
  • Water extraction and removal of water-damaged materials.
  • Removal of affected contents within the damaged area.
  • Set up and monitoring of drying equipment.
  • Job documentation and record-keeping.
  • Set up and maintain containment.
  • Containment and remediation of building materials impacted with mold.
  • Biohazard cleanup.

Position Requirements

  • Experience in responding, setting up, and managing commercial/residential drying equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be available for 24 hours on-call services (6-week rotation) during a work shift.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to be a part of a team.
  • Customer service-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift heavy items up to 75 lbs. on a routine basis with or without accommodation.

Compensation: $25.00 - 28.00/hour

We are seeking a Lead Carpenter to provide structural repairs to homes that require uncommon thinking to solve complicated problems. The Lead Carpenter has a full grasp of the construction process from the beginning to the end and coordinates all facets of the structural repair and restoration of the project.

A successful Carpenter has:

  • Working knowledge of a variety of equipment, materials, and tools of the Carpenter's trade.
  • Familiar with construction codes, construction procedures, and ADA requirements.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and equipment safety practices.
  • Skill in reading plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Basic mathematics skills to calculate layouts and offsets and provide accurate calculations and estimates.
  • Ability to schedule work, layout, coordinate, direct, and inspect the work of carpenters on the job, and determine the most efficient work procedures and techniques for assigned staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments in order to complete work in a timely manner.
  • A team player spirit with the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, customers, managers, and production coordinator.
  • The ability to move, lift and carry heavy tools and materials.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey clear and concise information.

Additional Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of a Certified Carpentry Apprenticeship Program or equivalent education and experience.
  • Five years of construction carpenter experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Elite Restoration emphasizes implementing weatherization as standard practice within all of our projects. An insulation installer has the required groundwork necessary to have additional training for weatherization.

A successful Insulation Installer has:

  • Working knowledge of a variety of insulation equipment, materials, and tools of the trade.
  • Familiar with fire blocking & envelopes.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, confined space training, and equipment safety practices.
  • Basic mathematics skills to calculate insulation R-Value & bag counts.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments in order to complete work in a timely manner.
  • The ability to move, lift and crawl with tools and materials.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey clear and concise information.

Additional Requirements

  • At least 2 years prior experience installing insulation (batt & blown-in).
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
